About Captain Emily
Boating has always been a part of my life. Some of my first memories are of sitting on the front of my dad’s first boat, the My Bonni I. He is now on the My Bonni V, but more commonly referred to as the Freeport Water Taxi. When he started the business in 2012, I knew that my summers would be spent on that boat. In 2014 I got my Captain’s License and I have been I have been piloting the Freeport Water Taxi ever since. It has always been my dream to have a boat of my own and now here we are!
During the winter I’m a high school English and ESL teacher turned School Librarian in Queens.
