The Seals are In!

Once the birds have gone south for the winter and the waters are cold enough, the bays of Long Island become the seals south for the winter!

During the winter, Long Island gets five types of seals, Harbor, Grey, Harp, Hooded and Ringed seals. They migrate down here in order to have their babies in a safe space without predators but with a ton of fish!
